Lauritzen Kosan Officers Conference Spring 2016

Lauritzen Kosan held another successful Officers Conference/Seminar at Makati Diamond Residences in Makati City last March 14-16, 2016.

The conference was led by the LK Vice President himself Mr. Claus Winter Graugaard, along with 

new head of Marine HR Mr. Anders Brix Ostenfeldt and Susanne Poulsen - Marine HR Manager. 
Technical and other Managers from LK Copenhagen were also present.
The event was organized by Crossworld in coordination with LK Manila’s Mr. Flemming and his staff. 
The three-day event was participated in by a total of 71 officers on vacation 
manning LK ships through Crossworld.

The Management team presented an interesting program and participated/interacted by LK officers.

On the first day of the Conference, LK Top 2 Officers (Master/CE) actively participated in further

sharpening the frame defining the shipboard initiatives that will support LK strategy. The next couple

days are followed by two days of discussions, presentations and other interactive sessions,
where aim together sharpening focus, on three most critical deliverables:

- Safety –highest Priority

- Customer – Delivering high Quality Services

- Total Cost of Operation – Balancing efforts at the right cost

Program Outline

The two last days 17-18 March, attended by Deck- and Engine Officers for the two day courses of Gastech/Cargo Operation

and Engine Course for the Engineers.

The Officers were also presented with plaques in recognition of the number of years they served LK, particularly those who

have past 15, 20, and 25 year marks. Other awards and memorabilia were also given out. It is the intention of LK to continue

giving such recognition awards in the years to come. The ratings will be given recognition as well in coordination with Crossworld.

Others who were not at the conference will be awarded their plaques at LK Manila office.
