Ph Drafts Policy on Online Shipping Info Systems

The Philippines is now working on establishing an Overseas Shipping Service Information and Management Systems or OSSIMS.

According to the Maritime Industry Authority, “It’s an information and monitoring system, which is designed to provide an online platform, including online filing for Overseas Shipping Service – related applications. It is consistent with our commitment to promote transparency and sustain ease of doing business.”
